To celebrate the upcoming release of Strange Figurines, The Black and White Years are offering a free collection of singles and b-sides that embody the band's best work. Included on this compilation are the demos that convinced Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads, Modern Lovers) to produce the radio hit, "Power to Change", "Little One" from their upcoming album and the viral YouTube track, "To Modern Science." This collection of tracks goes all the way back to the 2007 home-recorded demos, then comes full circle with songs from their previous albums. Put it all together and you get a collection of songs that highlight the best of The Black and White Years.
Austin-based fantasy quintet The Black and White Years are pleased to announce their latest full-length album. Available on January 21, 2014 via Modern Outsider, Strange Figurines, features a collection of ten tracks completing their most compelling work to date.
