In her weekly recaps of Intelligence, Amy Amatangelo frequently bemoans the waste of Josh Holloway. For a show that’s supposed to be a starring vehicle for the Lost alum, how is it Intelligence gets such horrible mileage out of its star’s onscreen charisma? (She also wonders why the leads so often engage in inappropriate flirting and never wear any protection into clearly contaminated/dangerous areas, but that’s a different article.) As the show has staggered along, it’s increasingly become less a question of “Can this show improve?” and more one of “Won’t someone please free Holloway from this poorly written albatross and get him into a worthier vehicle?” That got us thinking…
