Originally intended for Madonna’s recent album, MDNA, the song “Baby” leaked yesterday and provided a very different side to the rebel-minded musician, M.I.A. The song is unlike anything on a proper M.I.A. record with Maya singing to an unnamed boyfriend, but the singer-songwriter was quick to comment via twitter that the song was never intended to be released under the M.I.A. moniker: “this song wasn’t recorded for my LP so it’s not complete.
