Daniel Radcliffe Hasn’t Ruled Out Playing Harry Potter Again

Harry Potter child star Daniel Radcliffe revealed that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of playing Harry Potter as an adult in an interview with Radio Times.

“It would depend on the script,” said Radcliffe. “The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying ‘No’ for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”

Though the last part of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, was released in 2011, there is also a play following the life of Harry Potter’s son, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and a forthcoming film based on a book referenced in the series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Jamie Parker is playing the part of an adult Harry Potter in the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play.

Radcliffe played Potter from 2001 to 2011 alongside Emma Watson as Hermione Granger and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. He also played a magician in Now You See Me 2, released on June 10, as well as a corpse in Swiss Army Man, which came out on June 17.
