About the Book

renatus - a dark, sci-fi novella, ready to be devoured.

Aldon Prandtel used to be a successful scientist. Now he is a street-urchin-drug-addict who lives on the broken streets of 22nd century St. Louis, a gigantic but decaying metropolis. Though he doesn't know it, the government of the North American Union--a splinter nation that formed when the United States dissolved--is looking to enlist him in a much-touted research project rumored to have a hidden dark side. As the truth unravels, Aldon must search within himself for the courage to change the dangerous course set before him and his country.
