I’m a simple girl. I write song about being barefoot and beat up trucks, wild flowers and weaknesses, growing up and the good old days. I’m a Georgia girl and tend to gravitate towards everything that is southern. I like telling people stories with my songs. I’m convinced that someone listening to my music turned up as loud as possible on the stereo with the windows rolled down in anticipation of the Friday night ahead is better than any award I could ever win. I’m different but I’m not the first to say that. Someday is my favorite word because someday is where dreams live. I’d like to think that Someday’s become today’s. I am a work in progress and won’t pretend to be anything different. I am free. Most days I don’t have a clue how I’m going to get where I want to go, but I enjoy every second of the ride.
