South Mississippi born and bred, Robby Myrick grew up a country preacher's kid, toured with his family band The Rosetones during the Southern Gospel boom of the 1970s, then married his high school sweetheart and delved into church music for the next 30 years.
Robby recorded his first semi-professional album at age 6 with his mom and dad's Gospel band and has co-produced or arranged studio projects for more than a dozen Praise & Worship artists along the Gulf Coast.
In Summer 2000, he co-produced several live and studio worship projects for local church artists. For more than 20 years now, Robby has coached local worship leaders and helped new artists to launch out into their careers.
The Rosetones was Robby's 'family band' from the 70s and he has published several of those out-of-print tracks here for the loyal listeners who were so supportive!
The band carried the namesake of Rosemary [Holifield] Myrick-- the momma of the band -- who is one of the most beloved Gospel artists in the Mississippi-Alabama region. Rose continues to perform regionally for churches, civic groups, and her many friends with Salvation Army ALM District. Cristy Lane, Marijohn Wilkin, and Barbara Mandrell were among her female Country Gospel heroes from the 60s and 70s.
Danny Myrick has chalked up several top 10 country hits the past decade ... most notably "She's Country", the Jason Aldean #1 hit. He and Robby collaborate frequently which influences Robby's songwriting and arranging skills.
