Pep Guardiola Trains with Bayern Munich Players

Over the past week, the majority of Bayern Munich’s players departed the club to play for their respective national teams. Those players that remained behind, however, still participated in normal training sessions, albeit with significantly reduced numbers. To compensate, Bayern added some new players to its training roster including, evidently, manager Pep Guardiola.

The famed manager took a break from his usual coaching duties to participate in small-sided training drills, and seemed particularly adept when it came time for 5v2. That said, his defensive abilities leave something to be desired. Perhaps he can get some advice from any of the world-class players not called for international duty, including Dante, Rafinha or Mehdi Benatia.
