Bob Dylan Center to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Blood on the Tracks with a Tulsa Show Featuring Laura Cantrell, Elvis Costello & More

The lineup includes Laura Cantrell, Elvis Costello, Martin Courtney (Real Estate), Adam Granduciel (The War on Drugs), Joy Harjo, Robyn Hitchcock, Lonnie Holley, Diana Krall, Paul Metsa, Kevin Morby, Amy Ray (Indigo Girls), Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy, Emma Swift, Sharon Van Etten and Lucinda Williams—all of whom will be performing all the songs on Blood on the Tracks and others across the Dylan catalog with a backing band that includes a trio of musicians who played on the album—keyboardist Greg Inhofer, guitarist Kevin Odegard and bassist Billy Peterson—as well as Doug Keith, Brad Cook, Phil Cook, Darren Jessee and members of Chatham County Line.

Odegard will even be playing the same acoustic guitar from the Blood on the Tracks sessions, a Martin that he donated to the museum in 2019.

Tickets go on sale tommorrow for the all-ages show. The capacity at Cain’s, which made Paste’s list of the 40 best venues in America back in 2007, is only 1,700, so it’s sure to sell out quickly. If you’ve ever wanted to visit the Bob Dylan Center or its sister museum, the Woody Guthrie Center, or cross Cain’s off your bucket list, I can’t think of a better excuse.
