Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming comedy series No Good Deed, created by Emmy Award nominee Liz Feldman, creator of Dead to Me. The series stars Emmy Award winners Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, and will premiere on the streamer on December 12th. Kudrow and Romano are slated to play Lydia and Paul Morgan, two empty-nesters with conflicting views on selling their family home in Los Feliz. The teaser offers viewers a first glance into the series’ intriguingly dark world of real estate, mystery, and secrets.
Feldman shared of Kudrow, via a Netflix press release, “Lisa is one of the most wholly unique, surprising, and subversively dark comedians on the planet.” Of Romano, she highlighted, “Ray is this instantly likable person who carries so much emotional baggage that you know is there, but he’s so good at hiding it—and that’s Paul.”
Additionally, the cast features Linda Cardellini (who also starred in Feldman’s Dead to Me), who will play Margo Sterling, a status seeker with buried secrets. Teyona Parris (They Cloned Tyrone, Wandavision) will play Carla, a high-achieving architect and expecting mother, and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) will star as her husband, Dennis.
