Listen to M83’s Grandiose New Single “Solitude”

M83 is back with a second single, “Solitude” following “Do It, Try It” and this one is much more what fans of Anthony Gonzalez’s rich synth textures have come to expect. “Do It, Try It” felt tongue-in-cheek while “Solitude” is all cinematic strings— think “Karma Police” versus “Exit Music (For a Film).”

The song, which will appear on Junk (out April 8), features minimal singing and instead lets the listener focus on its grandiose orchestral suite and the impressive drum work that lies underneath.
