Marybeth Haines empowers people to make choices that promote action, personal growth and healing.
For over 25 years, Marybeth has gathered a wealth of knowledge and
experience from her training in social services, crisis prevention
intervention, and counseling. Her focus on enhancing the quality of life
for her clients has always been at the forefront of her work.
As an ordained minister, speaker, grief consultant and educator,
Marybeth’s specialized focus is providing support in pet bereavement.
She holds the strong belief that pets can teach people many things about
life and so can the grief associated with their death. The pain of such
a loss can be debilitating for many people. However, people can recover
and Marybeth’s passion is helping them move beyond loss. Her work
focuses on practical and supportive strategies for coping during this
difficult time.
After obtaining her diplomas in Educational Resources and Special
Needs and Applied Behavior Analysis, Marybeth began her career by
providing support to people with physical and developmental
disabilities. Soon she discovered those disabilities were indeed
‘abilities’ and her clients in turn taught her many things. It was a
beautiful exchange of supporting one another. Throughout the years,
Marybeth has upgraded her education and is is certified in Pet Loss
& Grief Companioning, trained in the top communication tools of
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy™, Hypnotherapy and
has worked with people and animals in a variety of settings. She is the
author of The Power of Pets – 7 Effective Tools To Heal From Pet Loss and and From Empty To Empowered – A Journey To Healing From Unexpected Pet Loss.
Experiencing grief and loss many times during her life, Marybeth has
made it her passion to share with others how to transform grief into
healing. She was inspired to write this book after the recent loss of
her beloved cat Kitty. She often refers to her favorite personal quote
of “Pets come into our lives to bring us many gifts. It is when we open
our eyes fully, that we can then truly see the magic that each gift
brings.”
