In 2003, 1000 Generations came out of nowhere and released a debut that Worship Leader magazine hailed “the best new worship album of the year.” Their first major label release, Turn Off the Lesser Lights, saw their song of hope “Fail Us Not” rise to be a Top 40 hit on commercial radio.
After 8 years, the band has decided to no longer tour as 1000 Generations. “We’ve loved every minute of being on the road, pouring our hearts into the music, and worshiping our amazing God,” says the band’s leader Steven Andy. “But slowly we’ve realized that we are longing go after other pursuits. Being on the road almost non-stop hasn’t given us the freedom to do that.”
This small collection of 3 songs represents the material 1000 Generations has been working on since the release of their most recent album, ‘Wrecked For the Ordinary.’ “We hope these songs encourage you and lift you up to a place of eyes-wide-open before the Father.”
