Children of Hurin is a pop-acoustic-folk duo consisting of Tim and Daniel Brunskill, two brothers from a little country called New Zealand. After years of listening to music together, the two brothers formed the duo in January 2012. "For years Tim and I had been listening to music and studying the song writing. We would listen to a song and talk about what made it good or what made it bad," says Daniel, "Eventually we decided we would have a go at making some music ourselves, and so Children of Hurin was formed." Children of Hurin's musical direction is a combination of indie-folk music and more mainstream pop. "We like to think of it as Ryan Tedder writing folk music," Tim says, "Songs that have artistic, indie verses and instrumentation, but with a big huge pop chorus that sticks in your head. The type of chorus you find yourself singing the next day." On the 26th of April, 2013, Children of Hurin made their d├ębut music release: a three-track E.P called Find Me There. Acclaim for Children of Hurin: "Children of Hurin create folky/pop with a kiwi flavor. It's the summer time, chill out and soulful ear candy that is catchy as hell. Keep an eye out for these guys. They got a great thing happening." Bryce Wastney - NZ Singer/songwriter singer/songwriter "An epic acoustic pop band, who write ridiculously catchy songs with a surprising combination of fun pop and deep heart felt lyrics." - This Little Orchestra 'Find Me There' is available as a free download from Bandcamp or Noisetrade:
