Description
Queen for Me is Frances Luke Accord's follow-up to their collaborative debut album, Kandote. Recorded and
produced at their home in Chicago during the brutal winter of 2014, Queen for Me is a meditation on the very present, yet intangible forces that escape us, control us, demand of us, and lift us up. Apart from a haunting vocal contribution in "Urban
Woman" by Kara Laudon, every ounce of this truly DIY record, from the first scribble of lyrics to the album artwork was done (with care) by the group's only two members: Brian Powers and Nicholas Gunty.
