Gracie and Rachel’s debut self-titled album will launch for preorder via PledgeMusic in April 2017. In anticipation of the album, the duo has curated four songs to share with fans who have been ever-so-patient with their support during the creation and evolution of the record.
“We have been deep in the studio pouring every ounce of ourselves into these songs, and it has been the most exhaustingly rewarding experience for us as a duo. During the making of a record, it seems there are so many moments where you have what feels like a great idea, you spend a whole day working that idea, hours lamenting over its placement, and then step back and realize you’ve done too much, and you have to throw it all away, or at least put it aside. In that vein, we’ve worked on songs relentlessly that in the end just couldn’t make the album for continuity reasons, which is why we are so thrilled to get to give you a glimpse of what we’ve been up to through songs like "Someday" and our choral arrangement of Kreayshawn’s "Gucci Gucci." Here you will also get the first two singles, "Tiptoe" and "Go," from the upcoming album - truly an all-encompassing taste of our minds through this process. Cheers! We hope you enjoy.”
