Brining in the new year J Metro, releases a new sound with song “Slow Motion”. The new record released December 11, is different from the normal J Metro track. How? In many ways! Since the direction of the new record gives an edge to the normal clean cut image personified by Metro, many long time fans weren’t sure about it. But on November 21, when performing at Houston’s biggest car show, thousands heard it for the first time and began cheering on as they heard the intriguing yet catchy hook!
The track, produced by Rueben Wood, was originally made for Classic Kutz soundtrack. The original motion picture documentary is set to hit select theaters January 22, 2016. Upon creation of the single Metro and Wood, were deciding to release the track on an upcoming J Metro album or alone. Now set for the soundtrack, “Slow Motion”, has become the latest stand alone single from the artist and may become a bonus track on the upcoming album set to be released in the summer of 2016.
After being considered for three Grammy Nominations for the 2016 Grammys, J plans to expand his brand in an outside of Houston. Metro will be entering 2016 with new music, performances and more.
