Description
God's nature, love, and character are wonders that eternally unfold for those who dare to voyage beyond the shallow waters of risk-less faith and will dive headlong into this ocean of unending love. The angels that fly around his throne night and day for all time are so awestruck by his glory and wonder that they sing only one word with out end - Holy, meaning "this is nothing like anything we've ever seen before." "Jump Into The Wonder" is a live recording of a night of musical exploration and expression where my friends and I committed every fabric of our being into sonic offerings poured out on the feet of Jesus. The setting for this holy moment was a May 2, 2010 meeting of "His Presence" which was a monthly meeting of extended worship along with prayer for spiritual, emotional, and physical healing and wholeness hosted by Redeeming Love Church in St. Paul, Minnesota where I served as the worship pastor, and the Healing Rooms of St. Paul. No instruments or voices were re-recorded or overdubbed in studio, so what you hear on this album is what happened on that Sunday night in May...even down to the order in which these songs took place. (With the exception of the Bonus Track "Alabaster" which was a spontaneous song recorded that morning at Redeeming Love Church's morning service). "Jump Into The Wonder" and "Here I Am" were the only two songs on this album that were rehearsed before hand (meaning we ran thru it a couple times and hour before the meeting!). The rest of the songs were unplanned, spontaneous and prophetic songs. Of the 3 full length albums I've released, Jump Into The Wonder has far and away been the most downloaded album. I'll never forget that night and I'm excited to freely share our recording of that experience ( which seems so long ago now!) with all of you. -Paul Anleitner
