Our socialite city log has something to tell you: We’ve crowned Twin Peaks: The Return the best limited series of 2017. That, and all 18 episodes are coming to The Museum of Modern Art for a special free, three-day screening on Jan. 5-7, as Vulture reports. The marathon is a part of the museum’s yearly series on “the year’s finest films.”

“David Lynch’s latest Twin Peaks season is simply unclassifiable: something totally and spectacularly unique,” Curator Rajendra Roy told Vulture. He adds, “As the Chief Curator of Film, and not Television, at MoMA, I will simply say that my opinion on the matter can be interpreted through the fact that I have invited it to be screened at the Museum. “Part I-IV” will air Jan. 5, “Part V-XI” on Jan. 6 and “Part XII-Part XVIII” on Jan. 7. We do hope that you’ll take a look at all of our coverage on the show: from wine pairings to love letters, from musical performances to dream logic. However, if you haven’t finished The Return, we advise you to spare yourself the deep agony of having its brilliance spoiled, and watch the show first. We’ll see you again in 25 years.
