Desi Lydic took a few minutes to chat with us about her new special, Desi Lydic: Abroad, which premieres on Comedy Central on May 13, right after Mother’s Day. Abroad looks at gender equality throughout the world, and tries to figure out why countries like Iceland and Namibia are more equal than America. Lydic talks to Paste’s Keri Lumm about women’s issues in the United States versus the world and what we can do to make things better here at home.
