Experience Life Itself in Amazon Studios Film’s First Trailer

This fall, Amazon Studios will release Life Itself, which they describe as “a multi generational love story spanning both decades and continents, from the streets of New York to the Spanish countryside, [which] are all connected by a single event.” Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Annette Bening and Laia Costa star in the film. Written and directed by Dan Fogelman, the creator of This Is Us, Life Itself was listed on the 2016 “Blacklist” for the best unmade scripts of the year.

Isaac is best known for his role as Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, besides earning critical praise for his performances in Ex Machina, A Most Violent Year and Inside Llewyn Davis. Wilde is known for her performances in Disney’s TRON: Legacy and she recently starred in the short-lived HBO series Vinyl. Cooke can be seen in Thoroughbreds, in theaters now, and Patinkin recently costarred in Wonder with Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson, and has starred on the Showtime drama Homeland with Claire Danes. Banderas is best known for playing the masked vigilante hero Zorro in The Mask of Zorro, as well as voicing Puss in Boots in the Shrek films. Bening is a four-time Oscar-nominated actress whose career has spanned over three decades. She recently starred in Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool where she played Oscar-winning actress Gloria Grahame and she can be seen opposite Saoirse Ronan in The Seagull this summer. Last but not least, Costa starred as the title character of Sebastian Schipper’s 2015 film Victoria.

In theaters on Sept. 21, discover that there is no greater story than Life Itself.
