Win a Stocking Full of Rob Zombie Holiday Horror
Quick story (kinda) about Rob Zombie:
When I turned 18 I got my first tattoo. Not knowing how that all worked, I made an appointment with the first tattoo artist I found in the—get this—phone book. Upon arriving, the man who would go on to tattoo me quickly escorted me to a back room, where he instructed me to lie down in a dentist’s-ish chair. Then, before he accomplished anything further, before he sterilized his equipment or even asked me where I wanted my tattoo carved into my skin, he turned on the—get this—boom box and blasted Rob Zombie’s “Dragula” so loudly there was no chance a conversation could have occurred, which was extra disadvantageous to me, since I hadn’t even told him where I wanted the tattoo.
When finally I was able to signal to him that his Rob Zombie was excruciatingly loud, he reluctantly turned it down a smidge, enough for me, tattoo neophyte, to distract myself from my nervousness to ask him where he got his first tattoo.
“Parlor or needle-and-thread?” he asked me. I of course responded that I would like to know where he got his first needle-and-thread tattoo. The answer, turns out, was when he was eight years old on his front porch.
Ever since, I’ve conflated Rob Zombie with my first, very-poorly-done tattoo.
But also since then: Rob Zombie’s directed six films! And his most recent, 31 comes out on Blu-Ray and digital VOD today!
So, to celebrate a modern horror maestro who may’ve branded himself upon thy flesh in the same metaphysical manner he did for me, Paste has a holiday-themed Zombie giveaway bundle, courtesy of the folks over at Liongate.
One (1) winner will receive:
1. 31 stitched stocking
2. 31 Blu-ray
3. Chainsaw ornament
4. Rob Zombie autobiography
5. Digital downloads of The Devil’s Rejects and House of 1,000 Corpses

1. Follow @pastemovies on Twitter if you haven’t already;
2. Tweet @pastemovies and tell us what your favorite holiday movie is (any holiday!);

And in the spirit of digging through the ditches and burning through the witches, we’ll pick a winner very soon!
Note: Winner must be a U.S. resident.
And now, care of Lionsgate, is the press-ready synopsis for 31:
From the visionary mind of Rob Zombie comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game or life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.
