Eminem Finally Unveils New Single “Walk On Water,” Feat. Beyonce

Eminem’s been dispersing Easter eggs all over the Internet about his potential new album. Yesterday, via social media, he shared an image of a written prescription with the logo of a fake drug called “Revival” (rumored to be the name of the aforementioned record) that read “Walk on Water,” which was presumably the title of the lead single. Today, he finally gives us the remedy, but turns out, it’s not a drug after all. It’s Beyonce.

Just like that, Slim Shady makes the comeback of all comebacks by enlisting the Queen to introduce the first album he’s releasing since 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. She opens the song with her euphonious vibrato ringing out over sparse piano lines: “I walk on water, but I ain’t no Jesus,” and Eminem takes over, building and building the intensity of his introspective verses as he ruminates over his life and career.

We finally got the first single, but the hunt’s not over yet. We’ll still be eagerly awaiting the official announcement of Eminem’s Revival. In the meantime, listen to “Walk On Water” below.
