For fans of:Suzanne Collins, Hugh Howey, Rick Yancey

Perennial 12 year-old raised on '70s Saturday morning cartoons & action figures who writes half-baked hypotheses & boiled-over brainstorms.

He grew up writing and drawing stories as a child. While he enjoys writing, Dan wishes to this day that he retained and expanded upon his drawing skills to make a better living in the comic book industry. Dan wrote and co-created Hero Happy Hour with artist Chris Fason--a comic book that has been referred to by many as "'Cheers' with capes."

He also served as editor with IDW Publishing with such titles as Transformers and Star Trek. He has also written the comic book Pirat Tales: Legend of the Cat O' Nine Tails and adapted stories for Cory Doctrow's Futurist Tales of the Here and Now and Completely Doomed.

Dan Taylor is a native of Orange County, CA, where he lives with his wife, Katie, dogs, Scioscia and Scully, and cat, Quint.
