About the Book

In the kingdom of Salentia, magic is a tightly-controlled secret. Prince Reginald harnessed this magic to create machines of incredible power, such as battle walkers, magical cannon shells, and even a mobile fortress.

Now, their ancient enemy, the kingdom of Beolo, is determined to uncover those secrets. Reginald and his half-brother Kyloth set out aboard the Eclipse to crush the invaders, knowing they'll have to contend with the Beolians' greatest military genius. The brothers face battle, espionage, and a skilled enemy, with the fate of their kingdom in the balance.

About the Author

J. A. Self is a writer of fantasy and science fiction. When not wandering the ether of one of his created worlds, he can be found training in taekwondo or enjoying a game on his computer (instead of writing.) He also speaks of himself in the third person, except when I don't. I'm a big fan of epic stories, so don't expect my stories to fit in a neat little package. The worlds live on, even if the characters don't.
