Country/Americana singer-songwriter, Cassidy Best, spent her childhood in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she grew up dreaming of performing for millions of people. While her early dreams consisted of taking gold in gymnastics at the Olympics, Cassidy always had a passion for music and putting on a show. At twelve years old, she began writing songs in the locker room during gymnastics practice, and for her thirteenth birthday, she received a gift that would change her life forever: her first guitar. From that moment forward, she began to realize that her calling was to entertain, but not as a gymnast. She decided she wanted to make music. Throughout high school, Cassidy continued to develop her passion for writing and performing, sustaining this passion through school talent shows and theatre productions. At age eighteen, Cassidy was accepted into the songwriting program at Belmont University in Nashville, where she truly fell in love with and developed her songwriting ability.

Growing up down the road from Nashville, music has always been her home. While her mom raised her on legends like Garth Brooks and Shania Twain, her dad always played classics like Journey and the Eagles, which is evident today through Cassidy’s unique blend of classic country and alternative rock. In her debut album, Can’t Stay Long, Cassidy captures the highs and lows entering adulthood. The record mixes sounds ranging from steel guitar to ukulele, and moods, ranging from heartbroken to relaxing on a beach. Combined with her bubbly personality to her spitfire attitude, Cassidy Best is sure to heads.
