These ain’t your Granddaddy’s hymns.
Okay, I’ll be serious.
Over the years I have wondered about the role of music in
church services. I decided to see if I could come up with a collection of hymns
(featuring a few original melodies- watch out!) that would tell the story of the Gospel, one song at a time. I couldn’t quite cover everything with twelve
songs, but I think it’s a good start.
Making this record was a very restorative process for me
because I had to think about what the Gospel really is, and that made a big
difference in my life and in the way I plan worship services. I hope these songs help you encounter God,
especially the way he reveals himself in Jesus.

I recorded all the sounds on this record in my room, except for the piano because a piano won't fit in my room.
Troy Bugosh mastered this record.
Aaron Clark took the album cover photo.
