The Human Wilderness is a collection of songs about a small town neighborhood as seen through the eyes/ears of it's younger citizens. A Little Romance continues it's swing through the neighborhood but the narrative is focused on fewer of the neighborhood's as some have moved away and all of them have moved along the old timeline. The way I play guitar is a kind of primitive WV combination of fingerpicking, flat pick strumming and part banjo frailing. On a good night the stories and songs ride on top of a funky kind of country blues pop stomp.
