Music is a universal language that everyone intuitively understands. With what's happening in our world today, with all of the divisiveness and hate, we need more notes and less political and religious ranting. The Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12) is the essence of all that can be taught that's worth learning. If we are super intelligent, have lots of wealth and prestige, but aren't willing to treat others with dignity and respect (regardless of their socio-economic status, gender, nationality or race), we are miserable failures!

What the world needs is love—sweet love, and the music to go with it. My songs are about life, hope and healing. And they're about calling out those who want to tear down, destroy and criticize what they don't understand.

Lines are being drawn and people are taking sides. They are aligning themselves with either truth or "fake" knowledge, compassion or bigotry, selfishness or generosity. I'm going with truth, love and kindness! —Rich DuBose
