Seye can help himself. He sinks himself with his open eyes, with that willingness to let them look. He lets his heart swell and he dares it to flood, to break to shatter into a billion little pieces that can never be cleaned up.

The member of The Very Best has made a solo album that is unapologetically girl crazy. He's crazy for the ladies and he's blaming it on them. He's blaming it on the beauty that they just won't put away. He has no defense against what they're throwing at him, just by walking, just by gazing, just by standing there, minding their own business. He is a poor, helpless sap bombarded with something deeper than simple temptation.

It doesn't sound like he's strictly chasing tail here, though the impetus is on just putting those dancing shoes on and going out tonight, letting the night become what it will, see where any of it leads them. It could lead to a bed and some regrets or it could lead to another night of dancing, or a dinner and some drinks, or something that gets suddenly interesting and tangible. He's hoping for the happy ending so that he might not have to chase any longer. There's no telling what he'd do with those active eyes of his, if it were to ever come to that, but that's a matter to think about if such a thing ever happened.

Seye's songs have a summer holiday feel to them. They are wee dalliances with great expectations. They sound salty and they sound buzzed. They're sweaty and sincere. He sings about the girl who has "leg like Beyonce" and gives his the eye like Rhianna. Somehow, he's determined to figure out a way to capture the heart of this girl because he knows that having her at his side will make him feel like he's in the company of all those untouchable babes that he salivates over. He feels like he's already struck it rich even if she's still got him feeling crazy and drunk.
