For fans of:Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons
The Low Anthem is an eclectic group of multi-instrumentalists formed in Providence, Rhode Island by Ben Knox Miller and Jeff Prystowsky and later joined by Jocie Adams. The music they play blends influences ranging from folk to blues and jazz to classical, creating a sound that is distinctly their own. What the Crow Brings is the band's first self-released, self-produced album, recorded over the course of nine months in their Providence apartment in 2007. Since the release of What the Crow Brings, the band has gone on to international prominence with the breakthrough success of 2008's Oh My God, Charlie Darwin and this year's followup, Smart Flesh.
