This is a modern version of The Warsawian, a revolutionary song with 3 centuries in the making: the original music dates back from late 19th century, the English lyrics were written in the 1920s, and now an additional bridge and new lyrics were added by Vii-Pii in 2017. Reflecting the migrants crisis in Europe, 'toiler' was replaced by 'refugee' and the lyrics dramatically apply to today's reality. The song was released on June 20, World Refugee Day.
Original composition by Józef Plawinski in 1883, English lyrics by Douglas Robson in the 1920s, additional bridge and lyrics by Vii-Pii in 2017
