Boyz II Men to Cameo on ’90s Sitcom Schooled

‘90s R&B group Boyz II Men will be making a cameo on ABC’s The Goldbergs spinoff Schooled, according to an Entertainment Weekly report.

Group members Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman will be playing themselves in the new season’s fourth episode, titled “The Rudy-ing of Toby Murphy”—a reference to the Sean Astin football classic Rudy. According to EW, AJ Michalka’s character Lainey gets herself and a “new female pal” tickets to a Boyz II Men concert, which is where the trio specifically make their appearance. The group added that they “had the opportunity to be in the writing sessions and collaborate.”

The Schooled Season Two premiere airs Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 8:30 p.m. ET, right after The Goldbergs.
