HBO is adding another series to its lineup: a remake of the British conspiracy thriller Utopia.

David Fincher will again work with Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn to produce an American version of the U.K.’s Channel 4 drama, The Hollywood Reporter said. HBO has contracted Flynn to write the American version and Fincher will direct and executive produce the show.

Utopia, from writer and creator Dennis Kelly, aired on Channel 4 last year and starred Fiona O’Shaughnessy, Alexandra Roach and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. Production on the second season is nearly complete for the U.K. debut in 2014.

The story revolves around a group of fans who own a cult graphic novel that has predicted many recent disasters. The fans are suddenly at odds to prevent the next predestined catastrophes from happening when they learn the author has secretly written a sequel.

An episode count and premiere date have not been announced. You can get a feel for the HBO version by watching the trailer for the U.K. version below.
