Watch the New Promo for FX’s Legion

FX’s new collaboration with Marvel, Legion, just received a new promo ahead of its Feb. 8 release. The hype is real, and it’s pretty exciting. We’re going to see a side of the X-Men that hasn’t been shown on film or television. The show exists in it’s own universe, which gives Noah Hawley free rein to re-create characters and do things that the X-Men films haven’t done.

David Haller, or Legion, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and spent time in and out of mental hospitals, may find out that he’s a much more powerful being than he could ever understand. David is the son of Professor Charles Xavier, which may explain where the abilities come from. Also, Legion is considered an anti-hero in the X-Men comics, so it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Hawley made Fargo work quite elegantly, and he’s proven to be an exceptional storyteller.

FX’s Legion premieres on Feb. 8. Check out the new teaser above, and a previous teaser here.
