All great partnerships must come to an end. Such is the case for James Corden and John Krasinski, two actors who have apparently been fired from some of the most famous films in history.

According to a mockumentary presented by Corden on The Late Late Show, Krasinski and Corden have acted together on films like A Few Good Men, where they got a little carried away with the line “You can’t handle the truth,” and Gone With the Wind, where they couldn’t resist actually dropping a mic after Rhett says “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.”

The mockumentary is set in 2014, but it doesn’t become clear why that is until the end of the clip, when it’s revealed that Krasinski was the original wife to Corden’s Baker in Into the Woods. Krasinski was ultimately replaced by his actual wife, Emily Blunt, whom the director saw as a better fit for the part. There were definitely a few hard feelings about the choice.

Check out the full clip above to watch the hilarity ensue, and discover why the pair weren’t cast as Vincent and Jules in Pulp Fiction. Here’s a hint: they probably should have memorized their bible verses instead of listening to Coolio.
