Horror stalwart Dark Horse hits readers with a triple whammy of House of Penance, based on the real-life Winchester House, I Am a Hero, a Japanese import that finally gives Junji Ito a run for his morbid manga crown and the latest issue of rural creep-fest Harrow County, complete with supernatural serpents. IDW gets in on the action too, with the debut of a hellish new series from the D4VE creators, while Marvel has their own early Halloween: Gwenpool, an ongoing series that actually exists in 2016 and merges the characters of Gwen Stacy and Deadpool.
