This Infographic Traces the Evolution of Costumes in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe

A superhero’s costume is always in flux, and that’s just as true for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it is for the comics. Pokies.net.au has put together a handy infographic showing the evolution of the MCU’s costumes, along with the hero’s first and most recent appearance in the comics, just to see how far we’ve come.

Looking at all the costumes in a row, it’s easy to see that the movie versions, in trying to stay more grounded, typically have more details than their comic counterparts, but with duller colors. The comics, on the other hand, go bright on the colors and tend to use simpler shapes and lines, while not breaking up the colors so much.
