We spent a fair amount of time in Brazil during the Olympics and loved every minute of it. We saw some athletic competitions, sure, but we also dug into local culture. For us, “local culture” is code for booze. We explored the booming craft beer scene around Rio de Janeiro, and also went deep into Brazil’s local spirit, Cachaca, visiting Coqueiro Distillery, which has been making wonderful spirits since 1803.
