Run the Jewels Are Live at the Garden in Their Surreal “Call Ticketron” Video

Grammy-nominated hip-hop powerhouse Run the Jewels have an early holiday gift for us all: the video for their Run the Jewels 3 stand-out “Call Ticketron.” Killer Mike and El-P previously teased the video with a fake news site marked “RTJ NEWS,” with a countdown to today.

A press release sums up the duo’s new video as follows:

Directed by Brad Palmer & Brian Palmer of Surround, the clip depicts a sold-out show at the Garden in NYC which goes awry when the audience mysteriously disappears. As the guys investigate, matters take an apocalyptic turn, and strangeness ensues.

The “Call Ticketron” clip is hardly the only present that Run the Jewels have given us of late. Just this week, El-P teased Run the Jewels 4, writing on Twitter, “fithy [sic], dirty, dusty plans unfolding with @KillerMike #RTJ4.” Another Christmas Eve surprise release is all but certainly too much to hope for, but we’re putting it on our wishlists all the same.

“Call Ticketron” is the third video off RTJ 3, which was one of Paste’s top albums of 2017. Previous tracks to get the visual treatment include “Legend Has It” and “Don’t Get Captured.”

Watch the “Call Ticketron” video below, and stay tuned for more on RTJ 4.
