(Sandy) Alex G Shares Video for Alternate Version of “Bad Man,” Sets Spring 2020 Tour

Philly-based lo-fi indie musician (Sandy) Alex G is often said to have multiple personas embodied in his work—some saccharine and some sinister.
The multi-instrumentalist also makes the argument that his already-recorded songs can contain multitudes. A new music video for “Bad Man,” directed by frequent collaborator Zev Magasis, contains a totally alternate version of the song that’s exclusive to the video.
The video feels like a found home video VHS tape, with shaky shots of seagulls and a running man flickering across the screen.
Last September, (Sandy) Alex G released his sixth studio album, House of Sugar, followed by an extensive U.S. tour. Due to the tour’s success, (Sandy) Alex G announced that he would embark on a spring 2020 tour that will also feature a slew of other talented acts, including Empath, Stephen Malkmus and Waxahatchee among others.
