Despite Increased Visibility in Nation’s Bushes, Sean Spicer Looks to be Replaced

As we stand here on the eve of Sean Spicer’s (professional) demise, one can’t help but marvel at just how many pictures of his head are appearing in bushes across the nation. On May 10, the White House Press Secretary found himself hiding among the bushes on the White House lawn as he attempted to collect himself before addressing the media following FBI Director James Comey’s surprise firing by President Trump, per a Washington Post report.
Since life is basically just one big meme these days, a Canadian university professor named Lisa Kadonaga decided to print out a large picture of Spicer’s head and put it in some shrubbery.
Naturally, others worldwide soon followed suit, creating a global phenomenon. Across the planet and internet, people are posting pictures of Spicer cutouts hiding in bushes.
This is just one of many gaffes for Spicer and yet another blow to his ego. It appears that Trump has noticed. Notoriously adverse to being made fun of, it appears that Trump is gearing up to replace his embattled press secretary. According to The New York Times, the reason Spicer didn’t know about the Comey firing ahead of time was because Trump was worried about leaks. It’s hard to imagine Trump keeping around employees he thinks might be leaking to the press … not that Trump needs any help.
According to a report from The Mercury News, Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is in talks with Trump’s administration to replace Spicer. The co-host of The Five has mentioned several times that she’d be a great fit for that particular role, saying:
