Sasheer Zamata – Comedy

The Paste Studio isn’t just for music. Once a month (or so) the Studio hosts a stand-up comedy night, streamed live on Facebook and then eventually posted set by set on this here website. One of the comics on our most recent night was Sasheer Zamata, whose debut stand-up special Pizza Mind was recently released as an album by Comedy Dynamics. (Read our review!) During her ten minutes Zamata touches on overly sassy therapists, body hair, emotional one night stands and more, showing a sharp eye and strong voice that she was never really allowed to display during her three and a half years on SNL.
