Five Guys Usurps In-N-Out as America’s Most Popular Burger Chain

There’s been an awakening in the fast-food burger scene. Have you felt it? According to a recent EquiTrend study from The Harris Poll, Virginia’s Five Guys Burgers and Fries is now officially the most popular burger chain in America. Previously, this coveted distinction had been dominated for the past two years by the West Coast’s In-N-Out Burger. The study focuses on familiarity, quality and likelihood of a juicy meat slab being purchased from a particular chain.
Inexplicably, Wendy’s ranks fourth on the list, suggesting that maybe the study is somehow flawed … or possibly just Americans are the problem.
