Critically Acclaimed Horror Film The Witch is Satan-Approved

You may think that praise from Sundance would be the ultimate approval. You’d be wrong.

Robert Eggers’ new movie The Witch (VVitch), which was a hit at last year’s Sundance, just got the highest praise in the land—that of The Satanic Temple. The film is based on primary sources from 17th century New England about witchcraft in the 1630s, and Jex Blackmore, national spokesperson for the Satanic Temple, says it’s “a transformative Satanic experience.”

The Temple will host four screenings of the The Witch, out Feb. 19, in New York, Austin, Los Angeles and Detroit, so go ahead and book your ticket now. Just don’t forget your ritualistic knife and robes for the midnight sacrifice.
