New Thor: Ragnarok Trailer Assembles "The Revengers"

While the Patriots were busy losing to the Chiefs on a season-opening Thursday Night Football last night, fans got a surprising new look at Thor: Ragnarok in the form of a 45-second TV spot.

The new trailer, which features some new footage of Thor talking to Valkyrie about his super team he’s calling “The Revengers,” showcased the film’s Jack Kirby-inspired visuals and director Taika Waititi’s signature brand of humor (awkward and irreverent).

It’s interesting that Marvel debuted this spot during a football game, when the movie has already been confirmed to be a gay space opera extravaganza:
