Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs Slated for 2018 Release
Photo by Alberto E. Rodriguez/GettyWes Anderson’s new animated film has a home. Just a day after Anderson announced Isle of Dogs alongside star Edward Norton, it was purchased by Fox Searchlight Pictures, and is now being slated for a 2018 release.
According to Variety, Isle of Dogs is set in Japan, and follows a boy as he searches for his dog. Other than Norton, the stacked voice cast includes F. Murray Abraham, Greta Gerwig, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber and Bryan Cranston, among others.
