Canadian indie rockers Arcade Fire have announced more U.S. tour dates in support of their Grammy-nominated 2017 album, Everything Now.
The tour, titled “Everything Now Continued,” will take place alongside their previously announced U.S. festival appearances at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Louisville’s Forecastle Festival and Birmingham’s Sloss Festival. The new six headlining dates include stops at Clarkston, Mich., Pittsburgh, Pa., Raleigh, N.C., Boston, Mass., Philadelphia, Pa. and Bristow, Va. Tickets go on sale starting on Tuesday, March 20.
In Paste’s full review of Everything Now, Scott Heisel writes:
The feeling that we have everything at our fingertips and have no idea what to do with it all is the overarching narrative of Everything Now, as Butler elaborates in the title track: “Every room in my house is filled with shit I couldn’t live without … Every inch of space in my heart is filled with something I’ll never start.” As brainwashing goes, it’s genius—and as a piece of art, Everything Now is not only worthwhile but rather brilliant.
This week, the band previewed a new two-song short film, Money + Love, starring Toni Collette, due out tomorrow, Thursday, March 15. Arcade Fire are also set to perform on Saturday Night Live on March 17 alongside host and SNL alum Bill Hader.
