The Heathen Collective area hardcore infused groove metal band hailing from Wellington, New
Zealand.
Since their inception in
2004, they have traveled their home country numerous times building
up a solid fan base while evolving their sound and perfecting their
entertaining live performances.
Influenced
by bands such as Black Sabbath, Machine Head, Pantera, Sepultura,
Deftones, Tool, Gojira, Refused, Korn and (hed) P.E, The Heathen
Collective's music is a combination of heavy grooves, unsettling
guitar riffs and socially aware lyrics about life experience and the
world that surrounds us.
