Description

William Bradford, born in 1982, is a life-long resident of Birmingham, Alabama. He is better known by his rap name Trill Will. He grew up in the College Hills neighborhood on Birmingham’s Westside. Influenced by Nas, Spice-1, No Limit, Triple Six Mafia, and DMX, he began putting out music around 2005 and got heavy rotation in nightclubs as well as much love doing shows and opening up for acts such as Gucci Mane, Boosie, Yo Gotti, and Young Dro, to name a few. He was known for his aggressive delivery, and violently clever punchlines. Jailed in 2011 for a stabbing he spent months incarcerated before able to make bond, and fight the case from the outside, which was fortunately, dismissed in 2014. During his stay at the county jail he got time to sober up, workout, and read the Bible. Upon getting out he vowed to only make music with a positive purpose. His style has changed into soul searching rhymes often including biblical quotes and references to scripture, while still maintaining his knack for witty punchlines. Since 2014 he has done several speaking engagements to youth groups, churches, and juvenile boot camps. “The music is just one platform to get their attention,” he says. “Children are the future; somebody has to tell them what’s real and what’s not. Jesus Saves.”
